Little GF Chefs is a monthly baking club for kids designed to raise their self-confidence, make fun memories, and teach baking skills. Every month, club members will receive a kit in the mail that includes a unique and fun recipe along with all of the dry ingredients and decorating supplies needed to make it. Each kit also includes a cooking tool, so your little chefs can start their own baking supply collection.
All recipes in the kits are gluten free, dairy free, tree nut free, and peanut free. As an example, the first month’s kit is Unicorn Donuts and the kit will include a recipe card, donut and icing dry ingredients, dye free plant-based food coloring, sprinkles and a silicone donut pan for 6 donuts.
Why I started Little GF Chefs
I started Little GF Chefs to help children on restricted diets address their anxiety and low self-confidence in a healthy and fun way. Children that have celiac disease or food allergies are at a much higher risk for developing anxiety (rooted in real fears) and low self-confidence. It’s real, even if we don’t talk about it, and we all need support for this too.
Learning to bake has helped our daughter tremendously. It started out as a way for me to show her that she DOESN’T HAVE TO LIVE WITHOUT. I remember going to a birthday party years ago and watching her practically drool over donuts. She didn’t say anything, but I knew how much she wanted to eat one of those donuts. So, after the party we went to the grocery store to buy ingredients to make our own. We came home and got messy, had fun and made the most delicious donuts. It was great and I knew we were on to something.
Over time, I see our bonding time in the kitchen building skills in other areas too.
- She is learning to have a more positive relationship with food, rather than fearing it.
- Her skills in the kitchen are increasing her self-confidence over all.
- She may not realize it yet, but she is learning a life skill she’s going to need to be able to take care of herself in the future.
Join The Baking Club!
I have seen so much good come from baking with my daughter that I felt compelled to help other families be able to do the same! We all get busy, and there are often multiple stores that we need to visit to get all of the gluten free and allergy friendly products we need for our kitchen. So, my daughter and I thought it would be “so cool” to create monthly baking kits for kids that would include fun recipes, cooking tools and all of the decorating and dry mix ingredients.
I hope you’ll join our Little GF Chefs Baking Club! You can find information on the kits and different subscription packages at our Little GF Chefs Shop.

Hi, Donna. Our kits are different than Raddish in that they include all of the dry ingredients and decorating supplies needed to bake each recipe. We offer both subscriptions and one-time baking kits. You can learn more here: https://celiacmama.com/shop/
