Sauteed Banana Apple Gluten Free Oatmeal
This recipe is gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free, vegan and paleo friendly. It makes four kids servings, or two hearty adult servings.

peeled and diced apples

maple syrup

coconut oil

we used Bolthouse Farms Vanilla

In a medium sautee pan, heat your coconut oil on medium.

Add in diced apples, cinnamon, and maple syrup and sautee for 8 minutes, or until apples are soft.

Slice your bananas and add to the sautee pan after the apples have been cooking for five minutes.

Sautee bananas for the last 3 minutes with the apples, and then remove the bananas and set aside.

Add the water to the apples and increase the cooking temperature to high to bring to a boil.

Once boiling, add the oats and reduce the cooking temperature to medium.

Cook for 7 minutes, stirring every minute to make sure it's cooking evenly.

Divide the oatmeal between bowls and add the bananas on top.

Pour 1/4 cup cold milk on top of each bowl and serve.
